I’m hurt, but I can get up

I did a lot of socializing this weekend. That’s hard for a robot. But robots need love too. They want to be loved by you.

Two observations from my weekend of being human:

1. We often spend a lot of time lamenting over being continually mistreated by someone. The thing is, the reason why it continues is because we continually present ourselves as mistreatable.
2. We do a lot of pretending to be hurt in one way, when really we are hurting in another. That, and pretending that we are not hurt at all, which only makes us feel more pain.

Stupid humans.
